It is located in the heart of Sharjah. The main gate of the Fort served as one of the first lines of defense against invaders. Al Raggas Cannon, it is one of the largest authentic cannons and is located in the fort's yard. Later, you be taken to visit Sharjah Aquarium which is located in Al Khan Old area; it is the first largest government educational centre in the UAE featuring 20 tanks that recreate different local aquatic environments, from coral reefs and rock pools to lagoons and mangroves. There’s a huge variety of marine life on display, from clown fish and seahorses to eagle rays and reef sharks. You can also enter in to Sharjah Maritime Museum next door. Feeds and talks are scheduled throughout the day, while a walkway lets you see the creatures up close. Kids will also love the touchscreens and interactive displays. Next you visit to Al Mahatta Museum, it is considered to be a First airport in the region, built in 1932 & then turned into Museum highlighting the history of flight in the UAE and the region. Hanno plane, The first plane to land on Al Mahatta runaway. Sharjah Cinema is the first cinema in the Gulf region. It was inaugurated in 1945 in old Sharjah airport (Al Mahatta). Short documentaries and comedy movies were shown there.
